Mistral Aviation Services was first certified in July of 2002.
It started Life as an Independent, specialised Brake repair station. With two Brake types on its Capability List its dedicated staff took up the challenge of taking on all comers and re-engineering the process for brake restoration.
Now four years later it undertakes overhauls on all major aircraft brake types and models. It comes with recommendations from all the major OEM’s and is seen as a modern workshop with modern processes.

It started Life as an Independent, specialised Brake repair station. With two Brake types on its Capability List its dedicated staff took up the challenge of taking on all comers and re-engineering the process for brake restoration.
Mistral has already begun the process of tooling up for Fuel and Hydraulic component repairs and when the test rigs arrive in early September the process of certification will be embarked upon once more. Mistral supplies brakes and Landing gear overhauls to scheduled operators and airlines throughout Africa.
Our aim is to offset the distance from the OEM’s, cut the down time and provide a safe dependable service. We are Fiercely African, Proudly South African and Totally Independent.
