CAASA
The Commercial Aviation Association Of South Africa is a non-profit organisation formed in 1944 to promote and protect commercial interests in civil aviation. CAASA is the watchdog that keeps constant vigil on all matters affecting the commercial aviation environment particularly those that may detrimentally affect its members. The further development of this sector of the aviation industry representing over two hundred members engaged in:
-Aircraft maintenance
-non scheduled and charter operations
-corporate operators
-flying training organisations
-aerospace traders and allied industries
-airport and aerodrome operators and
-service providers to the general aviation sector is of paramount importance
